Bloom is a daily gratitude journal app built to help you start each morning with intention. Your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Bloom is designed to keep your data on your device. Specifically:
Bloom can send you a daily morning reminder to write your gratitude entry. Notifications are entirely optional. You can enable or disable them at any time in your device's Settings app under Notifications → Bloom. We do not use your notification token for any purpose other than delivering your chosen reminders.
Bloom offers an optional premium subscription (Bloom Premium) via Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details. For information on how Apple handles payment data, please see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Your journal entries and preferences are stored using your device's local storage. This means your data stays on your phone and is protected by your device's built-in security (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode). If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device.
Bloom is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
